I am actually on a math team, and I am lucky in that a couple of the people who go to my home-school co-op also write and enjoy math. What part of Texas do you live in? My god-parents live in San Antonio, I have a couple of friends in Dallas, and I attend a camp around 2 hours drive east of Dallas.
I have heard of Brandon Sanderson, but haven’t read any of those books. Have you read any of the novels by Sabaa Tahir?
