Ahem. Hmm, what was the happiest ending in any of the chapters of my life? *muses* I know that my life, especially my teenage years, had quite a few hardships, emotionally speaking. But my happiest moments were when I pushed through that hardship (almost to the point of death, lol), and achieved my goals. I’m not sure if that’s cliche or not. But one of the most defining moments in my recent adulthood were when I got a whole year behind in school, but then worked my tail off to finish a whole semester ahead. The reward? My dad bought me a car. That certainly made me happy.

I doubt we could make a good story of my example, unless anyone wants to go into the gory details of my past. But you get the idea. Happiness results from pushing through hardship. At least in my experience.
