Wen’s PoV:

Riure laughed happily. “Then maybe we should stick together. This is Sadiq.” She patted the Wolverk-like creature’s head. “You can pet her, if you like,” she invited. Wen hesitantly smoothed Sadiq’s surprisingly soft fur. “I am Wen. I’ve been blind in my right eye for most of my life,” she told the small, slight girl with a smile. This little one had to be protected, she decided, nodding to Rosario with a smile.
