Here are a couple of my characters from Mapleton. I have a whole town (literally) of characters, but I’ll just touch on the main ones.😉

Julia Johns: Julia is usually around 14 (her age fluctuates sometimes depending on the story😆), she has frizzy brown hair, lots of freckles, and a spunky, lively, emotional personality. She loves talking on the phone to her friends, cheer-leading, and having fun. I don’t really have a “plot” because everything in Mapleton is winsomely normal.

Jackson Johns: Jack is 9. He’s freckled, fun-loving, and mischievous, but with a soft heart. He’s loosely based off my younger brother and his friend, and both boys love Jack’s character.😄 He likes video games, Dude Perfect, the high-school football team, and his family.

James Alberts: James is the neighbour boy, and Jack’s best friend. He’s 14, easy-going, and very pain tolerant (which is a good thing, because he tends to take the brunt of Julia’s spunk). He has blond hair with a natural cow-lick in the front. He spends most of his time at the John’s, to a point where Mrs. Johns gets worried when he’s not there.😁

I have a lot of other characters, but I’ll just briefly state a few. There’s Saralee (Julia’s best friend), and Brian (who loves the three little aliens in Toy Story and art), Jimmy (who thinks he’s so cool), Shaunda (who loves gymnastics, but is horrible at it), Ivy (a really sweet girl with a really weird brother), and the Casey’s (a.k.a. the Ram Fam😆 Libby [who, at this moment, is running around in the Character Castle] is their 4th kid).

Oh yes, AND the most amazing Mrs. Morrison. Who, as Jack says, is everyone’s grandma. She keeps a yappy dog, walks into people’s houses at her leisure, and bakes the best chocolate chip cookies in the world.
