@evelyn *nods* My mom might have something different to say about it, though. (She doesn’t like the fluorescent lights at the DMV.) If you’re worried about taking the written test, don’t be. As long as you are prepared, you’ll do fine. And don’t anticipate failure like I did. That just silly. 😛

I have only written one other sci-fi project, a “short” story of about 50K words. I find that sci-fi takes considerably more research than fantasy if you want to have cool technology and spaceships. It also leans more toward contemporary than fantasy on the genre spectrum, at least in my experience.
