    1. What are three things you know about characters? – They must be unique and memorable, they can come in all shapes and sizes, they can be used as foils of each other to demonstrate your story’s theme.

    2. What are three things you’d like to know about characters? – I would like to learn how to write realistic characters (in their strengths, flaws, actions, feelings, and personalities), character arcs, and character voices.

    3. What do you believe the crafting of characters has to do with powerful writing?  – Characters are the means by which you tell a story. Well-written characters can captivate readers and practically come alive on the page. (There are times that I wish characters in books were real. Also my own characters, but isn’t that every author’s dream? :P)

    4. On a scale of 1-10 (1 being appalling, 10 being stunning) how well do you think you write characters? – I’ve had a lot of practice over the years, so I would estimate a 7 or 8.
