I don’t think you left out anything… He seems very fleshed out and all.

To follow up Ariella’s comment about his personality type, what I did to figure out Lucas’ type (ISTJ-A) is I took the Myers Briggs personality test as if I was him. It was actually very fun! If you wanna use it:  https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test

(I dunno if that’s the actual Myers Briggs test or not, but that’s what I’ve always used lol)

@ariella-newheart Ahh yes… You guessed it! I had fun figuring out that part of his past… *grins like the Cheshire Cat*  The vow he made is to never fall in love with someone. Obviously, that doesn’t apply to Caedon… That’d be weird. But! It goes further. His mother, aunt, and best friend (mentor) all died when he was younger. Because he’s scared he’ll lose the person in some way, he tries to not get too attached to anybody, to keep heartbreak to a minimum.

But that is sometimes very hard, since his sense of justice makes him protect people, and be kind to people, so he finds that he can’t completely keep himself from loving (non-romantically) some people. So he finds himself in sort of a catch-22, when he’s trying not to get attached to somebody, but at the same time, he spends a lot of time with them, and cares about them, because of his sense of fairness and justice and protectiveness. So yeah. Hopefully that all made sense XD I love it because the WHOLE POINT of his story is him fighting that part of him while trying to be kind to people (not that being kind is hard, but you get what I’m saying).

I’ll write another piece when I get home. I’m in town right now, and I’m leaving as soon as Mama finishes up her shopping, so I don’t think I have enough time to write it right this second.
