@evelyn – Don’t worry about the confusion… I’m used to it with my family and friends. I’m rather a scattered, disorganized person, so chaos and confusion are just a part of my life.

I’m taking a general course on Forensic Sciences, basically covering the major services a ‘full-service’ forensics lab would offer – the photography, biology, firearms, document examination, physical science, toxicology, latent fingerprint, polygraph, voiceprint, crime scene investigation, forensic psychiatry, odontology, engineering, and computer and digital analysis units.

It’s not a very deep and detailed into each section course because they’re trying to give you an introduction to the whole thing rather than specializing. But it’s still really awesome! My favorite is document examination. Maybe cause I’m a writer. If I was a guy, or opting for a career over waiting for a husband and a family, I would like to be a document analyst in the FBI forensics lab. More likely I’d be in a local police lab, because the FBI is super, super, SUPER hard to get in to. Years of schooling and experience needed.

But it’s awesome anyways, and really cool story material.
