Thanks for the rundown! *Awkwardly returns hug*

As Goya walked through the opening, he heard a hissing, slithering sound from behind. Spinning, he found that the moss had grown over the opening until there was no way back. He felt a brief pang of apprehension, and it occurred to him to wonder whether the Wind was not dead, and this was some form of revenge. He turned slowly, taking in his surroundings: blue moss, grey vines glowing red, bits of gold in among the plants . . . was that a skeleton?

He had no more time to consider the skeleton. Crashing sounds in the maze were moving in his direction. Pressing himself into the moss, shuddering at its coldness seeping through his clothes, Goya drew his long hunting knives.

He cocked his head, listening, waiting. What kind of creature would make that much noise?

Something burst around the corner. Goya noted with relief that it was a man before he leapt in front of it and flung it smoothly to the ground. He was thus completely unprepared for the small child who crashed into the back of his legs and screamed in ear piercing tones,

“LOOK OUT!!!!! THERE’S A GIANT SPIDER RUN!!!!!”

Swearing, Goya stepped away from the kid. He took a deep breath to calm himself and asked in semi-civil tones, “There’s a what? Please explain to me exactly what this place is, strange dwellers of the maze.”

That was when the skeleton started moving.
