All i will say is Liorah sounds fascinating! I love the internal conflict she is struggling with. I would definitely love to read more about her in your WIP when it gets published😉

LOL, SAME! I feel like the two universal writer dreams are a fanbase of people who love the books enough to make memes, fanart, and headcanons, and maybe to have a movie adaption XD (Though movie adaptations seem to go wrong more often than they go right XD)

Thats the dream isn’t it😄 I actually think anime adaptations are the best bet when it comes to adaptations. Live action always usually messes up the stories (except the hunger games) 🙁 Plus I always draw my characters in the anime style because it just feels right, so I can’t imagine it any other way lol. Though I know the anime style isn’t for everyone, so any 2D animation in general is waayy better than live action. You can do things with animation that you can’t achieve with live action. I heard the wingfeather saga is getting an animated adaptation. So if i had to pick, I would ask for animated adaptation of my series, preferably anime😊

On that note, I realized something really interesting about Liorah while I was rewriting book 1! She does this thing where she assesses all her abilities by comparing herself to Gavril (her older brother). It seems completely normal to her, but I just realized it’s ingrained in her and she does it with everything, constantly. It’s actually kinda messed up because every time she does something she thinks about how Gavril does it better. (Which isn’t really reliable since she also idealizes him XD)

Its so cool when you realise things like that while you’re writing the story down. Its so rewarding once you learn more about your characters. Personally i find it hard to create internal conflict and struggles for my characters because i end up forgetting about them when i write the chapters. Its really annoying haha

Yes you’d wonder – buut it won’t be a good story then if they’re happy out and joyful if you get me. Happy endings are so much more rewarding once your characters have overcome their truama and obstacles. I am planning a very happy ending for Lorcan and basically any character who isn’t already dead by the end.

LOL, yes! It’s going to be hard to stop her since she’s actually kinda enjoying it (Mean little brat XD) I think the reason they clash so much is that they both have strong personalities and don’t want to back down.XD

O my gosh ur right, I never actually realised that before. Lorcan has a very strong personality, I don’t think that was even deliberate. I just wanted to have fun with him. He’s probably the way he is because he’s an unfavourable child of a great lord, so he was constantly pushed to prove himself and learn the arts of war and killing. So he feels the need to be stronger, faster, smarter and better than anyone in literally every way. Physically he’s the strongest character in the story. But he also doesn’t see himself as worthy, so he struggles to see himself in a good light. Where he comes from, if you have a physical impairment, you’re not worthy of leading and he has a particular impairment which I won’t reveal yet. So even though he’s the strongest man in his tribe, he can’t lead them.

PS I just had a crazy idea. Someone should make a tiktok about this character castle XD it would be great fun I’d say bahaha
