Eliane felt her tenseness return at Glenesh’s words.

What was she doing?

Even the elves hadn’t known her true name. Well. . . most of them. Not that that really made a difference.

Humans thought that her kind was dead and gone. And it was best to keep it that way.

But then again, these ones weren’t of Alduria. Glenesh certainly wasn’t, at least.

Eliane took a step backward.

She had given them her birth-name, and the names of her parents. That in itself was tremendous. She wasn’t ready to trust these people with more. Not yet.

“My name and parentage is far more than any still living in my own world know. Just because I have done as I have does not mean that I trust you.”
