You guys can feel free to make Elina do little things like follow a person or nod agreement if it’s needed to continue your charrie’s part.  However, I’d rather you not do more major actions/verbal things if that’s possible (just to avoid Elina acting out of character). 🙂

Elina padded softly down the halls for a long time, the rustle of her skirts the only noise that broke the silence. It was eerie, this place. By all appearances, it had once been a castle bustling with life and merriment, with young men and ladies dancing, and children running about in one of their games. It had tables heaped with dishes from foreign lands and musicians that played their songs until the morning light. It had been a castle that prided itself on its ability to create a sort of fantasy for its guests.

Except now, the furniture was layered in dust, the curtains sagged and the silk tablecloths were spotted with holes that had been eaten away by moths. The mother within her resisted the urge to scold whoever had allowed such poor caretaking, and focused on her task at hand.

She rounded a corner, and without thinking, let out a small cry.  Before her, in an open doorway, was a young woman.

A young woman with a knife.

And a young woman who looked like she wouldn’t care if diplomacy failed.
