😂 I did the same thing when typing that out. Meira just seems like she wouldn’t be one to cross her arms how most people do, so I spent forever crossing, uncrossing, and crossing my arms in weird ways trying to figure out which arm goes over which. Do you like that add in or not? (not counting the fact that now you can’t cross your arms without thinking about which arm was over which XD Also, I may have typed it out wrong even after all that work.)
“I say that way–blinky!” Meira shouted pointing to the opposite door Dominic had chosen. He knew she did that just to start an argument, which made him both furious and frustrated at this strange girl. He opened his mouth to argue but there was suddenly a loud ruckus nearby. Before Dominic had a moment to react Meira was throwing her spear through the air. Turns out it wasn’t just for looks Dominic thought. He laughed when she missed her target. She heard this and scowled at him. Though he turned away from her, he could feel her scowl burning through his back for a moment.
His attention was on the doors again. If he took the door that Meira wanted then that would be giving in. He didn’t want to keep arguing with her though. His time was worth more than talking- let alone arguing- with the weird cake girl. Truce? he thought. No, that would still be giving in. Then an idea hit him. No, truce is good. If I can get her to think I’m not the enemy, it will make her more vulnerable and I won’t have to deal with her as long. He liked this idea. He just had to be nice, though he winced at that thought.
“Oh, Meira?” he asked almost sweetly. Almost. He was turned back to her now and he smiled, “Meira, I’ve decided that your door would be the best way.”
