I’m good with having Rupe share his backstory with the others, but if I do, it may end up being riddled with spoilers. Y’all ok with that?

Rupert crossed his arms, and cocked an eyebrow.

Magic. . . life-saving? He didn’t buy it.

“I wonder if you would still say that,” Rupert said quietly, “if you had seen what I have seen.”
