Aw, that’s too bad! I hope life calms down a bit for you.

I guess that just leaves me then*gulp*

Dominic inched forward into the room with a black and white checkered floor. His mind spun as he was thinking about everything that had just happened, so quickly. He made his way to the far end of the room, where the food was, and sat some fruit on a plate. He made his way to a table, the least empty table where just one other person sat.

He picked at his food, but never ate anything. His mind was too far away. He glanced at the girl sitting at the table with him. She was gobbling down a large plate of cake.

“Make sure to save some cake for everyone else,” he mumbled so quietly he could barely hear it himself. The girl didn’t seem to notice him, for she was still lost in her cake.

Dominic shook his head and rolled his eyes. He turned back to his own plate and let his mind wonder. He remembered what had happened well. Too well. He had simply been going out for a walk one night then out of nowhere… he cringed at the memory. It was too painful to look back on. The pain, the blood, the fear. He didn’t want to be back there. It didn’t matter now though. He was here now. His only choice was to make it through, then once he made it, I will make it, he thought, then he could get his revenge.

Tonight, he thought, I lost the only thing that ever meant anything to me. I will survive whatever ‘game’ this is and then get my revenge.
