Hi everyone! I’m Erynne (Erin) I joined about a month or so ago, and it didn’t even dawn on me to talk about my romance in this group.

I haven’t actually started yet, but I have very carefully plotted it out (not finished yet though!) The romance part isn’t necessarily the main point of the story but it is a large part, and it’s always nice to have someone to talk to about writing romance as it is a difficulty to keep Christian standards while still keeping it real in a way. If that makes sense.

I’m a teenage girl and have never been on a date (I’ve seen I’m not the only one here, so that’s nice) I’m known to burst into tears over the cheesiest romance, but I don’t necessarily want that to be the case with my story, lol.

So yeah, I guess a quick rundown of the plot would be a good idea… It’s about a teenage girl (15ish I guess) who causes a car accident and gives her newborn nephew severe brain damage. She feels guilty and her brother-in-law kicks her out so she works, basically as a slave, for this guy who is known for his abusive behavior. Anyway, after several years she gets a job as a teacher and meets a guy and they get together. Everything is finally going good in her life then a new student with brain damage joins her class. (spoiler: her nephew) After some incidents take place, she must gain the trust of her nephew and fix the relationship with her sister. Also, in the end, she gets engaged and then dies before they get married.

Like I said, the romance isn’t the main point but it’s still important in the story.

So I just wanted to kinda introduce myself here and tell y’all about my romance story. I can’t wait to here what everyone has to say about writing a Christian romance! 🙂
