I loved that with Konyar trying to convince Rilyn to come out, that was so funny!Haha, thank you!! 😛

A gray-blue-eyed young guy, racing a girl, attempted to skid to a stop, but tumbled onto Konyar. At first Konyar jumped a little in surprise, but grinned as he watched them laugh breathlessly. On closer examination, Konyar realized the girl was blind, hence the dog at her heels. The smile faded from his face. In Konyar’s mind humans were weak enough normally, so he couldn’t imagine one being more hindered by a lack of sight. But he also guessed this girl didn’t wish for pity. Or at least he would think so. Sirian never wanted any; he strived to be treated as an equal with the rest of the tribe.
“This is–this Riure, and I’m Ehud!” the blonde teen was saying.
Konyar grinned. “I’m Konyar,” he offered. He glanced at Rilyn to see if she was going to introduce herself. Nope. She stared at the teens with pursed lips and narrowed eyes, obviously wondering why they were acting chummy and comfortable in such a strange place. A look she threw at him communicated her thoughts further: Do they live here?
“And this is Rilyn,” Konyar added, gesturing to her. “My very rude friend.”
Rilyn gently smacked him on the head. “Well, he might be the nice one, but I’m slightly tolerable once you get to know me.” She smiled wryly at them.
They hadn’t stopped laughing while Konyar and Rilyn had spoken, and they still were attempting–and failing–to control themselves.
“I’m so sorry,” the blind girl–Riure–gasped. “Having some…problems here…”
“Uh,” Konyar stuttered, staring past her. “Does that normally happen?”
Ehud turned Riure away. “Erm.. there’s a cave with lots of mirrors and creepy letters.”
Riure’s dog settled at her legs. The blind girl turned to Ehud and said his name in a questioning voice.
Konyar glanced between the two of them, wondering where this was going.

BTW, forget to tell you Konyar’s and Rilyn’s ages. With dragons it’s complicated, but think of them between the ages of 15–18-ish 🙂
