@claire Yes, the Bible is probably my top pick, too. Second would be Louis Sachar’s books (Holes,etc.) because they have taught me that everyone deserves reconsideration and a second chance. Unfortunately, I read “The Help” in middle school, and I was so shocked by it that I stopped reading. 😕
