Haha, yeah i felt very bad for my chracter. When I sat down to write that scene my brain was like “Ah yes, today we shall do the emotion cringe”. I almost didn’t post it cos I felt so embarrassed while writing it from his perspective XD (this happens with invented characters and real people I meet. I literally set aside time in my day to process second-hand emotions:).
yay, now everybody’s introduced themselves! But we’re still using nicknames…right? :D’

“Since you haven’t shown signs of hostility even after I did, I have concluded that you are, at this current time, not dangerous. Thus, I believe we can be acquaintances. I am not friends with anyone.”
“Oh…I can live with that.” In a more literal sense than usual. So Miss Murder was Erin of International Trade, another government crackjob from the Flying Islands. That made a good deal of sense to Ehud. She definitely was not…something obscure that Ehud felt as off but could put into words. It was different from just being antisocial, more like a trauma-response.
Ax Girl hesitated before giving her name (it sounded like a lightsaber woosh, the moment no one is around Ehud’s going to chirp her name over and over again because it just rolled off the tongue); she must be in trouble. Of course they were all in trouble right now, but this was different. So he had to protect her.
“The name’s Ahab. And that’s what you’ll call me. Now, how about we all go our separate ways?” Super Villain began to walk off.
“Hey wait!! You can’t run off that’s how everybody dies the horror movies! One by one everybody gets separated and then killed and then everybody dies!” Ehud dashed after Viking Ahab and very nearly grabbed him by the arm but thought better of it just in time. “I mean, the more people there are the less likely you’ll be the next one to die, right?”
The Giant was still looking at him as if he was crazy. Ehud glanced around to see if everyone else was staring at him like that too. They were. He faltered for a couple seconds but decided to plunge ahead anyway.
“I think the best thing we can do is search the place in groups right after we check out the super mysterious books everybody stole–” he paused in mid-breath “Actually, I didn’t see Miss M-Erin steal a book, that’s weird…well, anyway…Or we should start looking for water cos you can only survive three days without water, also it’s been two or something days since I had anything to eat, didn’t somebody bring food…please tell me someone did…?”
