I’m bumping it up to 4 () characters, so I’ll keep the answers short.

1. Do you often pray?

Nic:  Every night–for Hanna especially.

Hanna:  I don’t believe in God.  Why should I?  He left me to suffer, so why should I love him?

Arris:  Nah.  God doesn’t answer prayers.  He never has.

Phebe:  I think there is a God out there who hears me, but I don’t know why he doesn’t talk to me.

2. What scares you?

Nic:  When Hanna will enter the Race.  That Arris doesn’t care anymore.  And I hate the water.

Hanna:  Death.

Arris:  I really don’t know anymore.

Phebe:  Being alone.  *looks around to see if anyone’s watching, then whispers*  And spiders.

3. How many languages do you speak?

Nic:  English is my first language, but I speak a little Spanish too.  So 2.

Hanna:  No, no comprendo.  Just 1.

Arris:  1, good ol’ English.

Phebe:  I know Spanish from my mother, and Japanese from Old Sugai.  Including English, 3.
