@mayajoelle Ashtown Burials are my favorite too, though I adore 100 Cupboards too and it used to hold that special spot in my smol bookworm heart. I think the difference is realizing how unique and quirky Ashtown Burials is (while – in comparison – 100 Cupboards feels a bit more genre-typical, even for it’s N.D. Wilson style of not following the norm). Also Nolan. Also Arachne. And also the sibling vibes. And Rupert Greeves. And so many philosophy jokes. And classical themes.

Speaking of which, are you getting the serial for the fourth book??

Ahhh I need to read the whole series again…
