*peeks around the corner*
Hi, guys. Long time no see! I haven’t been on the forum much lately, which means I haven’t been active in the guild lately, which means…I’m really, really sorry. My busyness should lessen on Friday.
This post might not be completely necessary, and if it goes against any guild rules at all, feel free to let me know @daeus-lamb, but since I haven’t been on much, I haven’t gotten to know you, my fellow guildmates! Well, I know you a little. But here’s what I don’t know: why are you writing?
So here’s a fun little get-to-know you thread:
How old were you when you started writing?
Do you want to pursue a career in writing, or do you write just for fun?
What are some of your biggest spiritual struggles when it comes to writing?
Here’s my answers?
I was six years old when I started writing, and I’ve wanted to be a published author ever since.
I’m a huge critic of my own writing, and I have very low self-confidence in my own abilities, which means that most of what I write gets scrapped, and I work tirelessly to meet my own standards, which is exhausting. Story Embers has already helped me to embrace my own writing level, and I’m really grateful for the encouragement I’ve gotten here!
Praying for you all! Hope you have a productive week. ‘
