@taylorclogston Well I’m only eight or so chapters into <i>A Wizard of Earthsea</i>, but I like it so far. I’m really enjoying the worldbuilding and I’m finding it’s episodic-like plot work well with me reading a chapter a night (though there is an overall arc, it just feels like a couple clustered happenings clearly spilt into chapters)

@anne_the_noob14 Actually last November I was still waiting for paperwork to get cleared in order so that I could do the 30 hour course and then take the test and then get my permit. A process which took a couple months. Depending on the state one is in, the time between getting a permit and getting a license is set differently.  The state I’m in has a relatively small amount of time, because it’s a place that people have to drive themselves places often… whatever that means. 😉 *waves hands mysteriously*

The place I moved from, a less progressive place, has younger requirements, but also a longer period between permit and license. It just differs state to state. (:
