@anne_the_noob14 I, uh, didn’t realize the guild forums were still available =P I feel a little silly now.

I’m sorry to hear about your grandma. I really feel you regarding that day/night split. I’ll pray that your grieving time is exactly as long as it needs to be, and not longer.

And I’m happy to hear you’re enjoying Ranger’s Apprentice! I loved those when I was younger.

My life is, uh, really not going well. I don’t even know what to ask for prayer regarding. Work is beating me down even harder than usual, that’s definitely a keystone. It really hurts to push through a day of meaningless work and terrible people, and then see my dad talking about how people don’t deserve a living wage just because they work eight hours a day, because no one has the right to live if they’re not valuable to society.

He’s one of the few people in the world I love, and it’s really hard to love him when I see him so compassionless to other people in the same place he used to be. Really, really depressing. All I can think of is how he loathes me when I complain about my job because he believes I don’t deserve the money I make, let alone that I have any right to be treated like a valuable human being.

I guess please pray that I can find some kind of peace at work and in relation to my family.

On a nicer note, I just finished reading The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. Le Guin, and found it fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes stories about human relationships and realitypunk.
