@emma-starr I read Dave at Night a looonng time ago, but it was one of the first realisitc/historical fiction books I ever read and truly enjoyed. So, it’s kind of special to me for that. Unfortunately, I don’t own that one, though! And I’ve never found a copy of The Wish, so that is one of the few I haven’t read!

Dave at Night isn’t like her other works, I wouldn’t say. It’s a good story, and based on the life of her father, which is cool. It’s different. Realistic, like I said. But I still very much recommend it.
