I thought about it, and maybe there’s holding cells in the basement, and few various cell on the way up the stairs, and at the top is where they execute the prisoners. Debating how they do it.

Guillotine or hanging?

(When the guards/executioners are interrupted or needed at a meeting, they tie the prisoners up by the wrists at the top of the tower?
