With her head still down and turned, the girl wiggled her arm from Megyn, and forced herself to her feet. She took a shaky step away from them, holding onto the wall, seeming to be ignoring anything they say to her.

“Wait!” Megyn sprang up and wrapped her arms around her, trying to be mindful of the wounded shoulder. “Please! Don’t run away!”
