@anne_the_noob14 Oh dear. This is true. But then I always have just worn flats. Heels are nice and make me normal sized (ha) but first dance I didn’t even hesitate. I already knew I would regret it if I tried to wear heals.

Wonderful picks for piano pieces! I hope that goes well and I hope you figure out how to get out of that ditch. I’ve never been one for flash fiction but I’ve heard it can help for getting out of slumps, so with the ditch I’m in, I might try it. 😛

Hmm. Debate materials? As all my Team Policy debate experience is within the limitations of a curriculum, I’ve only ever used the book by Christy L. Shipe called An Introduction to Policy Debate. As for presentation skills of rhetoric in general and speechwriting, I participate in a “sport” called Mock Trial and have grew up watching it. It’s basically what my family watches instead of Football or Baseball or whatever, so I’ve never done a ton of studying in the area, the foundational elements and habits have come naturally from seeing hundreds and hundreds of rounds. Past that I get feedback from my team coaches.

I’ve taken logic courses over the years and so that comes into play here and there, and I guess recently I’ve been reading Socratic dialogues and those have been interesting.

Have you ever done any type of debate or is rhetoric and speechwriting in general just something you’re interested in?
