*whispering* Hello everyone! Sorry I haven’t been here much lately, and sorry for leaving you hanging for awhile, @dakota. But here I am, and warm welcomes to @katthewriter and Yuri! (And to answer your questions, yes, Amber is my RP character, and I think I did mention something about her having some medical training, so Yuri will hopefully be in good hands!) Sorry my post is so long, but there’s quite a bit to catch up on, so…Amber swallowed, then turned to Megyn. ” Did you said you didn’t know how you got here?”.
“Yes, I did.”Megyn replied. “I had been hiking with a friend in my home mountain range when I slid into a canyon and we were separated. In trying to find my way out I spotted the lights of this mansion and followed a path that brought me here.” She studied Amber’s face a moment, then asked. “What’s wrong? You seem . . . distressed and confused about how we got here.”
If only you knew, Amber laughed silently, trying to appear relaxed under Megyn’s searching eye. Of course Megyn had a reasonable explanation for being here. The woods were infamous for confusing inexperienced hikers; why would she think it was anything else? Probably because she’d been hanging around with Buck and Jay for too long. She’d been hearing about invisibility and portals for so long now that she was starting to believe that–
Suddenly, a huge hole gaped open beside her and Megyn, and out popped Ignis and another girl with a long platinum braid.
“Look at that! We actually made it where I wanted to go for once,” Ignis grinned. “I think I might finally be getting the hang of aiming these things. You alright there?” she asked the other girl, who looked as if she might possibly vomit. The sick feeling exploded inside Amber’s stomach.
Oh, this is not good. She took a step back. I knew I should’ve brought someone along. Something inside me told me to ask one of the boys to come, but no, I couldn’t do the sensible thing for once, and now I’m stuck here with…with…She watched Ignis take off her hat and pull an orange vial and a small trash bin from her hat. Maybe I can call Buck? Amber cautiously slipped her cell phone out of her purse. No service. Of course. Maybe I can–
“Ignis, what DID just happen?” Megyn’s voice broke into Amber’s thoughts. Amber quickly put her phone away and looked up to see Megyn stepping closer to the girl with the long braid. “Are you alright?”
“I…I’m fine…” the girl mumbled. Megyn nodded, then turned back towards Ignis. Amber bit her lip as she studied her. What should she do? Should she play dumb, confront Ignis, or just try to get out of here? Without Buck around, she had no idea what she was dealing with. Her gut told her she should stay, but for all she knew, Ignis was working with the–
Behind Megyn along the back wall was a blonde-haired girl about Megyn’s age in a dark hoodie and ripped jeans. It was hard to see her through the crowd, but something about her had caught Amber’s attention. She kept her eyes on the spot where the girl had last been; the crowd parted, and the girl’s head and shoulders appeared. Her face had a mingled expression on it, but it was the dark red stain on her left shoulder that made Amber forget her stomach for a moment.
Amber suddenly stepped forward and grasped Megyn’s shoulder. “Do you know anything about first-aid?”
