The sound began again. Megyn stood her ground, one hand resting on the head of her cello and the other holding the bow  . . . like a sword. ‘It’s not a very good weapon.’ She shook the thought of fighting from her head. ‘I don’t want to fight the person . . . ‘ She lowered the bow, touching the tip of it to her foot.

Her eyes caught movement a little to her right. She turned to face it. “Who’s there?” She asked softly.
