    @elisha-starquill Oooh.. Cool! Lol! Yeaahh… Like I said, I’m not quite there yet 😛

    Thanks! Are you doing NaNo? I feel like you are, but I don’t remember seeing you on the thread. But maybe I did see you. AAAAAHHHH I DON’T KNOWWWW

    *coughs*

    @ariella-newheart Ooooooo nice….!! We’re gonna get suspicious here soon, aren’t we… 😀 😛

    Oh, and Elisha, I LOVE your part! I love Racleva’s reaction to Caedon’s question 🙂

    Unfortunately, I’m going to have to pull Lucas out, unless you guys want to keep him in. I just have too much other stuff going on right now. The rest of this year is packed full of stuff, and I just don’t have time. So here’s my next, and last submission until I bring him back. If you guys wanna keep him in the story, that’s cool and just ignore the part where he disappears:

    Lucas watched as Caedon took a seat next to Vladlena and started eating. He really didn’t like Caedon sitting near the odd girl, but there wasn’t much he could do about it. When Caedon asked where Vladlena was from, and what her name meant, Lucas thought,

    Good lad. Ask her questions. Bleed her dry. She can’t lie forever, if she’s lying.

    He took the seat on the other side of Caedon and reached for the bread. He cut a large slice and spread it with honey, like Caedon had. As Lucas worked on chewing his first bite, he eyed the coffee pot in the center of the table. It was too far away for him or any of the others to reach. As if reading his mind, the coffee poured itself into a cup and floated it over to him. Lucas swallowed, and voiced his thanks.

    I could really get used to this…

    But then he thought about his home in Scotland, and his students who would be wondering where he was, and Trip, and a wave of sadness and homesickness washed over him. And then something very odd happened. Lucas felt as if he was falling asleep, and just as he faded into unconsciousness, he heard Caedon’s voice. He sounded far away, and Lucas managed to shake off the drowsiness enough to hear Caedon say,

    “Mr. McAsgain! Vladlena, he’s disappearing! Mr. McAsgain!”

    The last thing Lucas heard was Caedon’s broken sob.

    When Lucas woke up, he was sitting at his desk, holding his quill pen. He still had the taste of coffee in his mouth. His desk clock said 2:34. The same time it was the last time he looked at it. He looked out the window. His neighbor was just coming around the bend in the street, carrying the same bags of groceries she was last time Lucas looked out.

    Did… Did I just defy time? That wasn’t a dream… But was it real?

    Lucas suddenly had a thought, and reached into his pocket. His fingers brushed a piece of paper. Hardly daring to hope, he unfolded it. It was a page of notes he had written down after reading one of the books in the castle’s library.

    It was… real.

    Ok… There it is… Like I said, if you guys wanna keep Lucas in the story, that’s cool. Just ignore the part where he disappears. And don’t worry! I’ll bring him back and write more with y’all at some point. So yeah. I’ll be stalking this thread and keeping up, though, so it’s not like I won’t be here at all. I just can’t write this as well as all the other stuff I’m writing right now.
