For example, let’s name the kingdom, the continent, and maybe even the planet if we don’t wanna call it earth. XD Then maybe decide what kind of biosphere the story takes place in so we can write better description once we venture outside the mansion. (Thus far I feel like it’s a desert biome. Well, maybe not desert, but it’s warm and dry. Perhaps a tad sandy.)Yes, those are good points! We need a naming committee! 🙂 (sorta kidding) I agree that the biosphere is rather warm and dry, kinda like the eastern side of the Rocky Mountains (Colorado, Wyoming, etc.).
I like the festival idea too, but I just had a thought . . . if, as @jessi-rae suggested, the prince was the thief and arranged is own kidnapping at his own coronation. There would be a greater amount of ransom money involved, which he would take for himself and then try to overthrow his father’s kingdom. Make sense?
