@anne_the_noob14 I’m actually not sure what kind of fabric it is. I got it from a sale at a church and there were no labels on it. It’s not thin like cotton and is relatively durable. (It might be linen, but I can’t say for sure.) Any fabric would probably work as long as you have enough of it. I used gabardine for a red cloak and it turned out great. Cotton is a bit iffy, but it would also work.

I’d also suggest not using a slippery fabric for the lining. It might look good, but the hood will slip off when you wear it. Just something to keep in mind. 🙂
