@ariella-newheart Well, I prefer not to skip around like that, but sometimes it helps. Since it’s the first draft, my main goal is to figure out the plot and character arcs and put down whatever ideas I have. Those parts are probably going to be completely changed, so it doesn’t really matter that much that I skip them. Most of them involve details that I haven’t figured out yet because I don’t know how the climax will go.

Ahh, I know exactly the feeling you’re describing! The same thing happened to me when I came back to this book. My fantasy world is like a second home, in an odd way. 😉

How could I turn down an opportunity to discuss characters? 😛 I’d love to! Maybe we could set up a thread for meeting each other’s characters?
