@tinuviel Wow. It’s… interesting. In a good way. It feels like the prose I want to when I am at my most poetic, words bursting out of me, but then I try and it looks way worse actually on the screen, but yours is actually good. It technically is a story—It has a beginning middle, and end. There is conflict and a resolution. I just… *tilts head* *squints* I don’t know. It’s poetry. I’m not great with poetry.

It seemed like all three “acts” had independent conflict that didn’t really connect with each other. In the first one you were scared of sharing the story because it felt so personal. In the second you felt empty because the story wasn’t yours anymore. (Like how Harry Potter doesn’t really belong to Rowling anymore. A large part of the fanbase has just refused to accept the Cursed Child is canon. That would be so weird to feel. I’ve never really thought about it before.) The third was about finding a new story to write. I’m not sure how they all connect and how they are all resolved. Maybe I’m thinking too formatically. IDK.

I made a couple of suggestions. Overall I think it is good. I could imagine it being in an anthology somewhere.
