I love that you were able to give some insights into Tolkien’s and Lewis’ personal lives to show how it affected their view of women! I really had no idea about any of that. Could you recommend any particular biographies on them? I’m definitely interested in learning more 😀

Your point regarding Tolkien idolizing women is interesting. I don’t have much knowledge of his life in general, but I would think his portrayal of women may have rather come from a deep appreciation for the “feminine genius” after having been constantly in the company of men for most of his life. But I can see what you mean regarding how his limited (and mainly positive) experience with women may have been the reason.

I definitely agree that the Bible has so many examples of great women! It also provides huge encouragement to write about great women like that our own stories so society might start to see the truth about women 🙂
