All I can say is WOW! Your WIP sounds awesome!

My WIP is about a teenage boy who was born blind in one eye, lost his mother at birth, and is left homeless because his father left him for no apparent reason.

But in his foster home, he becomes like a sibling to Maria, a Mexican girl and together they both discover an ancient cipher that leads them to another world. There they find themselves in a race against the darkness that grows and the little clock that is said to count down to destruction if the Dark Prince is not killed before it reaches the down time. Either way, they have two choices, leave the world behind and let the clock lead to destruction or go after the Dark Prince and risk being turned into living statues of diamond. (they still breathe and are alive, just they are trapped as statues for eternity.)

I’m not sure what I will call this one though. Something like Shadow Keeper or Dark Boy.

My second WIP (funny that we actually both have two for the same reasons) is for a competition. I’ve gotten a little stuck with it though…

What is one book that has come out, or will come out that you are really excited to read?
