@tashah-claymore I know what you mean by the ideas at night. Recently my brother and I did a writing contest where we waited until everyone was in bed, then sat down with our computers and began writing. After every thirty minutes whoever got the most words written won that…round. Anyway, I got 3,702 words done on my short story! It’s a pretty good motivator. So we have a swamp cooler that blows on my back when I’m writing (not sure if you’re familiar with swamp coolers, but they’re definitely well-used in this town) and I added this scene where one of the characters is riding in the night with the wind blowing him around and I wrote a short poem that he chants all the while. It was a great moment and it seemed like I was in the moment so that helped as well. The poem actually turned out pretty well. Here it is if you want to see it:

    Off into the starry night
The wind within my hair, my sight
And all I feel is tight the limb
For horse that under me is nimb’.

    Not anything but darkness, strong
And that is still, too much, too long –
My mouth is beat between the scum
The wind it tears about us all.

    Forever strong, the midnight breeze
And all I hear within the trees
Is leaves a’blow and silky white
Their silver shine it brushes, flight.

And here beneath me bidden ride
This horse of black and silver mane
He gallops on to wind the road
For if not then the river rope.

Anyway, yeah, the face is sort of a mix between Tom Bombadil, a Roman guy (the nose), and Bob the Tomato’s eyes. (Don’t worry, I don’t watch VeggieTales). An altogether interesting mix with a weird complexion. Not, for any of my people’s style, but it may adhere with one particular character who lives more in the north. His name is (drum roll, please) Haflin Glor. The name fits his character. He is one of my more highly-developed characters. Sort of like my idea of a Tom Bombadillo of my world and so of my ideas. As I said, I’ve really developed this character and wrote essays on his past and the nature and construction of his house. He’s gnomish in heritage and is a concentrator of the Elethren, though not very well known. There are other aspects…

Haven’t heard of the Legend of Zelda before, but it sounds interesting.

That’s a great drawing!  I like the way you drew the eye and the fur. It really adds to the sense of mystery and stealthiness. That is, if you were looking to draw that in the drawing. It’s like Agatha Christie, she had a character…list…that she added on on occasion. It was where she would think of a character or imagine the looks of a person and describe him/her then create a history for them. She could then draw from that source whenever she needed to and transform or manipulate any characters for the story. It’s something I wish to do someday.
