I liked your post, Jane Maree. 🙂 It’s kind of funny, but when I was younger I had this weird idea that, like, most people were gifted in a few specific ways, they were supposed to concentrate on those talents, and the younger they started the better. It took me a stupid long time to fully process that, “hey, people can learn things when they’re older, it’s okay for me  to put time into a variety of interests and that people aren’t defined by their two biggest talents or whatever.” Young me… *facepalms and shakes head* I had do much to learn. Okay, I <i>have</i> so much to learn.

I like being a writer -but it’s good to be reminded that it doesn’t define me and it’s not where my value comes from.
