Activity

Great post! I’d say that my overall purpose for writing is (or should be) to honor God. I do, unfortunately, get waylaid by flawed/sinful motivations like pride… I also love stories and will try to understand certain concepts (e.g. compassion) by putting them into fictional scenarios. Sometimes, part of my motivation to write a story or poem will be to remind myself of something that’s true and/or to portray a truth for others (e.g. we should treat people with respect or we should love our enemies).
