@kate well that’s good XD oh, definitely. And I don’t believe that all women need to be nurturers and all men need to be protectors, but I still agree. Especially within Christian circles sometimes. I see it especially with guys who use the Bible to justify oppressing women and being absolutely awful. And often you don’t feel comfortable admitting sin because you’re supposed to be perfect, so then people just go on with their sin.

I totally agree. It can be easy for me to do that with guys, unfortunately, though. A lot of my stories feature oppressive, sexist, manipulative, abusive men. They definitely exist, but I think I over-represent them and under-represent decent guys 😛
