I think theoretically the one writer thing worked well, but in practice it was a bit stressful. I mean, I know I could have asked for some help, but I’m the sort of person that wants to do what they said they’d do.

Maybe we could try working strictly with two writers. One can always pull out and another one can take their place, but there’s still someone who’s been involved with and written the story, you know what I mean?

Also, I’ve been thinking that we should have a specific date we want a draft written by and then it goes to the editors. I feel like we’re always finishing the day before and hardly ever get good editing done. Not pointing fingers or anything, just making an observation. So maybe if we had a “plotting deadline”, a “draft deadline” and then the final deadline, things might work a bit smoother.
