Activity

Phoenix glanced at the dog, kid, thing.  It was barking at him now.  He cautiously reached through the barsto pet it, when he heard a voice.  It startled him so badly he jumped in the air.  There was a kid on the cage next to him, asking rapid fire questions.  The thought made him sad. Pull yourself together, he ordered himself.  He smiled at the kid.  “I’m Phoenix, little monkey.”
