also, i’m really bad at writing them getting into the actual place, so I’m gonna have them just wake up in the lab

Phoenix groaned. It felt like the tiny elves were hammering on the inside of his head with slegehammers.   He sat up ever so slowly to avoid throwing up. It looked like he was in a cage of some sort. Where was he? The last thing he remembered was walking with Ash in the park.  Ash! Where was she? He crawled to the edge of his cage and peeked out.  The room was clean and even smelled clean.  There were other people in cages, as well as some dogs.  There, five cages down, next to the cage with some girl with dark brown hair and gray eyes.”

“Ash, are you ok?” he yelled,waiting anxiously for a reply.

“I”m fine, except for these creepy cages, but oh look there’s puppies!” Ash squealed and shook the cage next to her. “Did you see the puppies.”

Phoenix rolled his eyes. Typical of her. They were stuck, in cages, and she was excited about dogs of all things.
