Whoops! Well, they’re aliens. Flesh and blood, with different colored skin. Their blood changes color based on their emotions and it shows through their veins, which are under translucent skin. Orange is for anxiety and red is for fear, etc. I was trying to set that up without info-dumping with the novitiate in the beginning, but it may not have been very clear. D: That’s why Vasha hid her hands in her sleeves when she was talking to Tamani and her veins turned orange. Do y’all think that makes sense, or is it too world-specific for something this short and basic?
