@shadowwriter161 Google is helpful. There are a lot of centuries in history, so you are going to want to narrow it down. One way I choose a time period is by thinking about what technology do I want available, and more importantly, what do I want not available? If I want guns but not electricity, that narrows down my time period a lot.

Then start googling. You could start by just looking up stuff like “life in the late 1700s England”. Then you could start looking up more specific things like “noble clothes in the 1700s England”.
