@seekjustice Thank you for volunteering to write this month! We are getting to the point where we need to choose our object. So far we have water (for a person lost in a desert), air (for someone drowning), a shard of glass, a landmark (for someone lost in general), a hammer (as a potential weapon) and a bird that can signal water is nearby (Again for someone lost in the desert.)

Do you have any opinions on any of these? For instance, I think a story of someone drowning would be very dramatic, but I could never write it. It is too horrible to think about drowning in detail and envisioning burning lungs and the feeling of helplessness it would take to write it. As the writer, do any of these ideas spark an idea of what you want the story to look like?
