I always use notebooks for brainstorming/outlining, because it makes stream of consciousness so much easier and I’ve basically learned to think on paper. XD I also sometimes, like he pointed out in his post, write on paper when I’m especially stuck. It helps me to just *write* instead of constantly critiquing myself. I guess there’s that thought in the back of my mind when I’m writing on paper—I’ll revise this on the computer later anyway, so it doesn’t have to be good *now*. Which helps me. XD
But I do all editing on the computer. Typing is just so *fast* and I love it. XD And most of my first drafts are written on the computer too, just because I feel like the sheer time it would take to do on paper would be overwhelming. XD But there’s also that part of me that really wants to write a book in a NOTEBOOK BECAUSE THAT’S SO COOL. *heart eyes*
Anyway. My thoughts. XD 😀
