@karthmin Did you have a good vacation?

I want to be traditionally published one day. I personally don’t read self-published books (except Hope Ann’s), because the ones I had read have not been good. Like, give up reading after the first two pages because I am so annoyed at the writing bad. I just don’t trust ’em. I don’t want my book to be like that, and I think that unless my self published book becomes a HUGE hit (Which is pretty unlikely. I have a small network and no social media.) I would always be wondering if my book is secretly one of the cringy ones and I just can’t tell. Getting traditionally published means I have passed at least one bar I trust.

I also plan to work in a publishing house one day (if that is God’s plan), and it seems almost disingenuous to get self-published when I am/will work in a place to get traditionally published.
