@elisha-starquill Hmm, I’d say Blu is moderately easy to take care of. I have to do a deep clean of her cage once a week, and I have to clean out her dishes every day and make sure she gets plenty of variety in her diet (fruit and vegetables and stuff) and not just seeds. She also needs a lot of social interaction, and she can make a pretty big mess when she comes out of the cage, so I’m often cleaning poops and feathers off the floor. You also have to be careful with stuff like spray cleaners and cooking fumes because they can be really harmful to birds if they breathe them in. But it doesn’t seem like much work now that I’ve gotten used to it, and it’s well worth it! Parrotlets have so much personality. She’s very cuddly and affectionate, but can have quite an attitude sometimes. xD Also, they typically only bond to one person, so they’re not great pets for a large family. Blu is bonded to my mom and me, and sometimes tolerates my dad. 😛
